Honeymoon in backwaters is an awesome experience. One can feel the joy and the beauty of love in the air. On arrival at Cochin airport or representative on time transfers you to Thattekadu at a distance of 50 kms/ 1 hour. After arrival check in a hotel, freshen up and relax at the comfort of your hotel room. Thattekad houses the famous bird sanctuary named after Dr. Salim Ali named after the famed ornithologist. This exotic bird sanctuary attracts rare species of birds from varieties of different parts of the world. Entire day is free for activities such as bird watching, boating, trekking, elephant training centre visit, jeep safari, etc. Overnight stay at the hotel in Thattekad.
Day 02: Thattekkad - Munnar
After breakfast we will take you to Munnar, a picturesque hill station located at a distance of 90 kms or 3 hours on road. Throughout the journey one can enjoy the fresh mountain air, lush green forests, crystal clear waterfalls and magnetic natural beauty. On arrival at Munnar check into Hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. In the evening enjoy the scenic vistas and enjoy the blissful ambiance of Munnar enjoying the stimulating tea prepared from the fresh tea leaves of Munnar. Overnight stay will be in Hotel Munnar.
Day 03: Munnar
After breakfast we take you for a full day sightseeing trip of the most famous tea gardens, dams and other natural spots in Munnar. We take you to Mattupetty Lake & Dam, Echo Point, Kundale Lake, Blossom Garden and Rajamalai all are blessed with beauty of nature and scenic charm. The magnetic beauty and tranquillity of these exotic places will offer you time to enjoy in a romantic way with your beloved and treasure golden moments. Overnight stay will be at Munnar.
Day: 04 Munnar - Kumarakom
0900 Hrs after breakfast checks out from Hotel and we transfer you down to the beautiful backwater destination to Kumarakom, which is at a distance of 185 kms or 5 hours on road.
On arrival at Kumarakom, check in at the hotel. Later in the day, one has the option of visiting Kumarakom bird sanctuary by himself (Optional) which is a world famous bird reserve frequented by a large number of migratory birds from very far away places or take a sunset cruise in scenic Lake Vembanad (Optional). One can just simply relax in the peaceful and serene environment of the resort and enjoy the commanding view of the nature at its best in Kumarakom. Overnight stay at hotel in Kumarakom.
Day 05: Houseboat (Alleppey)
After a late breakfast, check out from the hotel, we then transfer you to our own houseboat situated in the beautiful backwaters of Alleppey. It is the best part of honeymoon in backwater as you can sit back and relax while the boat cruises through the narrow serene backwaters, canals, rivers and rivulets offering you to enjoy the mesmerizing vistas of refreshing nature. Lunch, Evening Tea/Coffee with snacks, dinner will be provided on board the houseboat. Our team of polite and professional staff will always be there you to help you with regards to all your needs. Overnight stay will be on Houseboat. Celebration of honeymoon in backwater will give you an everlasting experience to cherish for lifetime.
Day 06: Houseboat - Cochin (Departure)
Today is the end of the lovely tour. Enjoy the morning breakfast with your beloved on board, viewing the nature beauty at its best. Later on time our representative will transfer you to the Cochin airport of railway station (100 kms by road, 2-3 hours) to connect flight or train for onwards journey.
